From EcoVadis Silver to Platinum.
VMI Group set itself the goal of EcoVadis Platinum in 2024. With Viktoria on EcoVadis and Beatriz on the annual report, it reached Platinum in June 2026.
The situation
Platinum had been VMI Group’s goal since 2024, starting from a Silver medal.
Instead of trying to build a full-time sustainability team all at once, VMI Group brought in exactly the expertise it needed, when it needed it, year-round. For more than a year and a half, Dazzle’s independent experts have worked as its staff on demand, across a wide range of sustainability topics.
Our approach
Four Dazzle experts worked with the VMI Group team, each on their own topic:
- Scope 3 calculations. Panos helped map and calculate emissions across the supply chain.
- SBTi commitment. Panos guided VMI Group through a solid, science-based target commitment.
- Sustainability communication strategy. Beatriz helped shape and sharpen internal and external messaging.
- EcoVadis improvement. Viktoria worked with the team on practical, targeted actions to boost the score and improve the overall sustainability management system.
- Annual sustainability report writing. Viktoria supported the writing and development of the 2023 and 2024 annual reports.
- Annual sustainability report design. Gilda handled the graphic design of the 2023 and 2024 reports, to visually reflect the achievements of those years.
The outcome
EcoVadis Platinum for VMI Group in June 2026, the medal for the top 1% of rated companies. Along the way, VMI Group built its Scope 3 baseline, an SBTi commitment, a sharper communication strategy and two annual reports, while staying flexible in hours and costs.
